The apartment “Near the Lake” in Zagreb is 61 m² (656.60 sq. ft) and is simple, but modern. With a big and spacious balcony, it gives you a beautiful view of the green meadow and rugby and lawn hockey fields.

If you wish to stay a little bit longer, there is a washing machine, iron with ironing board, clothes drying rack, refrigerator, stove with oven, central heating and bed linens for both winter and summer period.

“Near the Lake” apartment is located immediately close to Jarun Lake, in the liveliest recreational neighborhood in Zagreb. This is a perfect place for those who like sports, adventure, and fun. It is a perfect place for walking around the lake.

Within a five minute walk of the apartment there are many different sport facilities, such as indoor and outdoor pools, volleyball club, track and field, tennis courts, fitness centers, rugby and lawn hockey fields…

Around Jarun Lake, there’s a series of beach volleyball and beach handball courts, basketball courts and ping pong tables, as well as bike, roller skating and walking tracks. Professional kayaking is also available.

You can also swim in the lake or sunbath on one of the many pebble beaches that surround it. That’s why Jarun is popularly called “zagrebačko more”, meaning “The Sea of Zagreb”. J

From the embankment that lines one part of the Jarun Lake complex spreads the view of the magnificent “Arena”, the new, recently opened hall in Zagreb, where many sport events and concerts of popular Croatian and foreign performers take place. Arena is a host place of different cultural, business and entertainment events, as well.

The best way to come to “Arena” is to take a bus line 109 (Crnomerec-Dugave) on the bus stop “Horvacanska cesta” in the direction of Dugave, ride 3 stops and exit on the stop “Savski Gaj”. From there, walk for approximately 5 minutes southwest, toward the neighborhood “Laniste”.
